A Brief History-Kiwanis, founded in 1913 in Detroit ,Michigan, now headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana operates in over 80 countries in addition to servicing children  throughout the United States and Canada. Its prescient motto : Serving Children of the World ,builds upon the dedicated work of the Northside Kiwanis Club members and friends. Its support of the  Atlanta Community Food Bank, The Salvation Army, Boys and Girls Clubs, The Hunger Walk, The Buck N’Ear Auditory Education Clinic and the Chidren’s Miracle Fund  continues.  Presently, there are  seven (7) Signature projects: Georgia Tech-Circle K Program, The Garden Hills Elementary School-Everybody Wins! Reading  Program, Hillside Hospital-Center for Children, AMIS-Atlanta Ministry for International Students, VILLA International, Empty Stocking Fund, and E. Rivers Career Day. We are anticipating adding additional programs in 2024, some of which are: Atlanta HS Key Club, 2nd Saturday Feeding program and Woodland Avenue Latinx Community Service Program
